COUNTER SALES AND DESK SUPPORT ASSOCIATE

Job Description – MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF AUTOBODY PRODUCTS

Ben-Ami Auto care is a provider of materials to the autobody, detailing, and car wash industries, is looking for a highly motivated person who is willing to grow within the company to expand our sales department. We are seeking someone with counter sales and clerical experience. However, a background in the autobody industry is required. This position is full-time, 5 days, M-F, 8am and 4:30pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming sales order calls. Prepare invoices and Purchase Orders in Quick Books.
  • Contact existing customers to update contact information and other customer details as needed
  • Contact existing or new prospective customers to coordinate outside sales personnel visits and product demonstrations
  • Perform timely, outbound calls and lead follow up as defined by management
  • Support the administrative team in answering calls and providing call back information

Qualifications:

  • Autobody Experience mandatory.
  • Customer service or telemarketing experience is a plus.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to cohesively work on a team and or independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Proactive, responsive, flexible, and highly adaptable.
  • Friendly and approachable personality.
  • Clean and neat appearance.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) Required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 per hour

Ben Ami Autocare, a Long Island B2B distributor of products for the auto body, detailing, and car wash industries, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative.

Outside Sales Representative (Auto Industry) Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.

  • Utilize a proven system of selling with supportive marketing materials.
  • Develop and implement plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities for assigned customers in territory.
  • Generate and follow-up on leads.
  • Effectively perform needs assessments, develop sales proposals, and presentations.
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams (inside sales, warranty, production, distribution) to ensure customer success.
  • Strategic account planning and management.
  • Introduce new products and technical updates to customers.
  • Strong focus on prospecting and business growth
  • Maintain continuous face-time with route customers
  • Report activities using the company CRM system

Outside Sales Representative (Auto Body Industry) Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of outside sales and PBE experience.
  • Hunter sales mentality
  • Self-starter who is highly motivated
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Previous Sales Reports: A Plus
  • Compensation: Base + Commission – commensurate with experience
